Mayra has worked with Happy Girl for 14 years and many of you know her if you have been in our kitchen. She is excited to share her cooking skills from her native country with you.
Come and spend a delightful evening learning about this staple meal from El Salvador. Mayra will lead us in making the masa for the pupusas and preparing two perfect fillings - beans and cheese, which is a classic, and a vegan option as well. Pupusas are always accompanied by a cabbage salad (curtido) and a tomato sauce (salsa) for a complete meal. We will make this entire special meal alongside Mayra, and hopefully everyone will get to hear her incredible laugh!
Register early as they tend to fill up fast! The workshop will be held at Happy Girl Kitchen Flagship location from 5-8pm at 173 Central Ave, Pacific Grove 93950.
