In this workshop we will cover all you need to know to make delicious jams and the keys to preserve food safely. You will learn our secret techniques for making low sugar jam that is packed with fresh fruit and flavor. We will cover techniques for making and testing your jam so that it comes out perfect every time! We will begin with an hour introductory talk covering the topics of hot water bath canning, the PH scale, and food safety. You will get hands on with some of the Bay Area's very best produce and learn all the techniques to making great preserves at home! You will go home with 3 jars of goodies and a lot of knowledge. We will share an organic meal throughout the workshop too! This is going to be a fun workshop, so register early as they tend to fill up fast!
