St. Mary's by the Sea recently completed a labyrinth in our front yard. It is ready to walk, even if the garden is not yet complete!
The equinox is a perfect occasion for a walk. It signifies balance – the moment when day and night are nearly equal, and marks the transition into a season of reflection and gratitude, honoring harvest, community, and abundance. As summer gives way to fall, a walking meditation can help ground us and lead us to gratitude for what has been and what will be. It can also be a time to reflect on our own changes through seasons of our lives.
Join us at 5:00 pm on September 21st for a brief orientation and invitation, and then feel free to walk the labyrinth at your leisure.
