Hofsas House is hosting a fundraiser for Peace of Mind Dog Rescue on Friday, February 27th from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. 100% of proceeds go to POMDR.
Reservations are required, and space is limited. There are two Wine Fridays this winter, an opportunity to enjoy locally crafted wines while supporting Peace of Mind Dog Rescue (POMDR), a nonprofit dedicated to helping senior dogs and senior people on California’s Central Coast. The fundraiser events will be held Jan. 16 and Feb. 27 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Poolside Meeting Room at the Hofsa House, located at 3rd & 4th Ave on San Carlos St., Carmel, CA 93921.
Tickets are $15 per person and include one glass of wine and light nibbles. Additional glasses of wine will be available for $5 each. Reservations are required, and capacity is limited to 40 guests. Each date will feature a different local winery: Jan. 16 – Scheid Vineyards Feb. 27 – Twisted Roots Winery POMDR has been a vital resource and advocate for senior dogs and senior citizens since 2009, providing care, support and adoption assistance. The organization has helped more than 5,000 senior dogs and people across the region.
One hundred percent of event proceeds will be donated to POMDR to help fund its programs and continue its mission of compassion and care.
