Description

Join us on Wednesday, March 26th at 11:30 am for: “Into Africa: Why the Most Ignored Continent Matters”, lecture and luncheon presented by the World Affairs Council Monterey Bay.

Why do we tend to ignore Africa? What are some of the main challenges Africa faces and poses to the rest of the world, and why should we care? In an illustrated presentation our guest, Captain John Tully, Navy Foreign Area Officer Chair Naval Postgraduate School, discusses why Africa deserves our attention, the challenges the continent faces and the opportunities it offers.
