The World Affairs Council of the Monterey Bay Area presents: “The Crisis in U.S.-Venezuela Relations: How Did We Get Here? Where Are We Headed? Luncheon Lecture. 

Join us on Friday, January 30th for a lecture on the current conflict between the U.S. and Venezuela follows more than a decade of deteriorating economic and political conditions in the South South American country. Dr. Dayton-Johnson, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Middlebury Institute of International Affairs at Monterey and Author, will explore that background as a prelude to discussing the objectives of the Trump Administration’s more recent moves in te Caribbean, aimed at pressuring the Venezuelan regime.
