Why does experience so quickly become personal? Even after moments of clarity or presence, many of us find ourselves pulled back into self-evaluation, comparison, inner pressure, and familiar ways of seeing ourselves. These patterns are not random. They are part of the structure of personality that organizes how we experience life, relationships, and ourselves.
On Sunday, July 26th from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the Center for Spiritual Awakening, in this experiential workshop, we will begin exploring the living mechanics of identity in real time. Through meditation, guided inquiry, somatic awareness, and group exploration, participants will learn how to:
Recognize self-referencing as it happens
Notice the activity of the inner critic and evaluative mind Observe how identity is reinforced through thought, emotion, and bodily contraction
Experience moments of awareness that are not fully identified with these patterns
Rather than trying to eliminate the ego or “fix” the personality, this work invites a more direct and compassionate understanding of how these structures operate and how they shape our experience. This workshop is part of an ongoing depth-oriented series exploring presence, personality, essence, and the unfolding of the soul through direct experience.
