New Exhibits Opening at the Pacific Grove Art Center

Through the generous support of Linqto, Center for Photographic Art is kicking off 2023 at the PGAC on Friday, January 6 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm with CPA Celebrates! New Exhibits  running from January 6-February 23, 2023.  

There are four diverse exhibitions and these exhibitions and accompanying programming augment the ongoing world-class exhibitions hosted at CPA’s storied gallery in Sunset Center, Carmel.
Also, Dylan Eden local landscape photographer (MHS ‘22/MPC) will have a solo exhibit in the small halls.

Center For Photographic Art – Up Close and Personal: The Journey Continues, Gill Gallery Up Close and Personal: The Journey Continues highlights the photographs of three cultural documentarians: Monica Denevan, Richard Murai and Manuello Paganelli.
Center For Photographic Art – Oceana: Deep Reverence, Dyke Gallery Local oceanic photographers Bryant Austin, Scott Campbell, Chuck Davis, Camille Lenore, Robin V. Robinson and Ryuijie delve into the darkness of deep waters, resurfacing with light sensitive images of flora and fauna from the unfamiliar world below. Oceana: Deep Reverence illuminates our collective connections to all the life of our planet, and our deepest reverence for all that we know to be “Oceana.”
Ernie Luppi – Bella Italia, Annand Gallery Bella Italia features work by noted San Francisco photographer, Ernie Luppi. His retrospective exhibition highlights four decades of documentary photography and his commitment to film photography and darkroom printing.
Arts in Progress: Where Photography’s Past Meets Its Future, Boyer Gallery A collaboration with Arts Habitat and Zach Weston and the Weston Collective. This exhibition acknowledges the Collective’s twenty years of commitment and passion nurturing fine are photography among the youth of the Monterey region.
Dylan Eden – Slowing Down, Small Halls "Local landscape photographer, Dylan Eden (MHS '22/MPC currently), shares a fresh collection of 32 breathtaking images, ranging in location from the coast of California, to the shores of Hawaii and Europe. Dylan enjoys photography not only for the challenge of getting "that next great shot", but also because of the peaceful connection that he feels with the landscape."
