Here at Happy Girl, we offer a daily bowl on our menu. The idea of the bowl is based on local and seasonal produce (always organic!) and is our hearty and filling menu option. 

Join Chef Suzanne as we explore some ideas and create a summer-inspired meal based on the Bowl. In the peak of summer, we will take advantage of the market abundance and together create a meal using vine-ripened tomatoes, herbs, and the freshest produce available from our local farms. 

We will discuss the various elements in a bowl like grains, proteins and sauces that build a satisfying meal. As always, we will be using the freshest, local, seasonal ingredients available to create a simple, nourishing and delicious meal made from scratch that we will share at the end of the workshop. We will also prepare a salad and a dessert to complete a seasonally inspired meal. While we work together in the kitchen, we will share various cooking and prepping techniques that will be handy for you to use at home. 

All participants will receive a packet of recipes from the evening. Please indicate any dietary restrictions when you sign up and we will accommodate when possible.
