Finally!! Hand made fresh tortillas!!! In this workshop you will make flour tortillas, yellow corn pressed tortillas and white corn hand shaped. Fresh tortillas are a delicious addition to most any meal. They can be simple to make, and will most definitely impress your friends, family, and even you!! In this new and fun workshop, Suzanne and Mayra will lead you through making three different types of tortillas: rolled flour tortillas, pressed yellow corn tortillas, and traditional Salvadoran hand formed white corn tortillas. 

This workshop will be led in Spanish and in English. We will begin the evening sharing a light meal and then we will head our way into the kitchen to begin our tortilla making adventures. You'll get tips and tricks to build a stack of delicious tortillas, and at the end of the evening, you'll leave with a stack to take home to enjoy in the coming days. 

A light meal will be served in the beginning of the workshop and you will also dine on fresh tortillas at the end (and/or take them home) This is going to be a really fun workshop, so register early as they tend to fill up fast! Sign up: HGK
