Don’t just sit at home worrying and waiting for the election returns – do something to ground yourself in God’s love and our common humanity.
St. Mary’s will host an ecumenical prayer service at 5:30 pm on November 5, where we will listen to scripture, reflect in silence, and lift our voices in prayer for sound government, unity, and peace. The service will be led by the pastors from St. Mary’s, the Christian Church of Pacific Grove, and First United Methodist Church Pacific Grove.
Tell your friends and neighbors – all are welcome.
In addition, St. Mary’s church will be open all day beginning at 10:30am, with prayers at the bottom of every hour. Come by before or after voting, or simply to enjoy the stillness.
