The Museum is proud to be a partner for the 12th annual Walk of Remembrance on May 13th at 1:00 pm. This year’s Walk will be from the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History to the Hopkins Marine Station (1.9 miles), offering an opportunity to learn more about and honor the communities and descendants of the pioneering Chinese Fishing Villages that once thrived in Monterey County. "The Walk of Remembrance is a celebration and recognition of the sacrifices, contributions and influence that the Chinese Community has had on the history, culture and economic development of the Monterey Peninsula. It is my sincere hope and desire that the Walk be used as a teaching opportunity to learn from the past and to move towards a society of inclusion, equity and kindness for all."
